Della Terra Mountain Chateau {Jeff & Lauren}

We met this amazing couple through a social media competition that they won and from the moment we spoke, we hit it off!

After finding out they were getting married at one of our favorite venues we were really excited at what they would experience. As the time grew near, Lauren had a chance to practice her wedding, by helping us out at a styled shoot at The Pinery at The Hill and she was simply stunning!

As we prepared for their amazing day, weather was high of 42 with a chance of snow and rain. When we arrived the mountains were kissed with snow and the grounds at Della Terra were damp enough to give the trees a gorgeous glow to the bark. Coupled with the light fog hanging over the mountains, it was truly captivating to experience this epic scenery!

Once her handsome groom was prepped and his gorgeous bride was set and ready to go, the emotions took over! Lauren & Jeff opted to do a staged first look while reading their letters from one another. With tears, laughter and family looking on, they held hands with and enjoyed every moment! Of course, we didn't make it easier on them. After reading their letters, we began shooting their first look with eyes closed. Jeff said this was by far the hardest thing he's had to do. Holding his bride and NOT being able to see her. The photos were incredible as they enjoyed their short lived embrace! Only an hour longer before the anticipation ended...
